Our Story

In 2016, we decided to take the giant leap.  With help from a friend, we hired a co-packer in Mustang, OK to package our salsa.  We chose this route due to the many health regulations on packaging your own product and we wanted to provide the safest product for our customers.

Our Approach

We tested our salsa recipes on our friends, family and co-workers for years.  Always being told that we should sell it.  We currently sell our salsa at the Norman Farm Market and events through-out Central Oklahoma.  Our recipes are unique and Doug loves to hear people comments after they have sampled it.

The Owners

We are a husband and wife team 

Doug – I am veteran and served from 1973-1977 in the United States Marines.

Janetta – I am an accountant by trade.  I graduated from St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee, OK.

We have 4 adult children (Nicole, Candice, Tara & Tyler), 5 grandkids (Jeremiah, Alexander, Johnathan, David & Elias), 1 great-grandson (Silas).  We have been farming on a small scale since 2002 in Bethel Acres (Tecumseh address).  We began with 5 acres.  In 2003, we purchased the adjoining 5 acres,  In 2008, we purchased a new place (having 40 acres).  We currently operate with a commercial greenhouse and 2 high tunnel hoop houses.  Along with farming and raising chickens, we have created our own brand of salsa in two completely different flavors (Jalapeño/Habanero & Mango/Habanero).
